I was approached by the soulful and talented Derek Lassiter about recording a small private concert in a lovely Victorian mansion in the Castro district of San Francisco. Having worked with Derek and his band before, I knew this was an event I did not want to miss, even though I had never done any remote concert recording. There were two shows on two separate nights, both had great turn outs and surprisingly different crowds. I learned a great deal in the process and had a great time. It's always a treat to work with such talented people.
