the ephemerals at studio trilogy

An old friend and classmate of mine, Michael Gray, asked me if I was willing to record some of the music he had written with a few of his friends. He said the project would take place in about six months, I said yes and then completely forgot about it two days later. Six months after that he asked again if I was still willing to record some of the music he had written with a few of his friends. I said "oh yea (jogging my memory), of course" and he was going to book it at a different studio. He looked at rates and his budget and I suggested that he consider recording it at Studio Trilogy with my discounted rate instead. after a quick tour and brief run down of the gear list, it was decided that we would record at Studio Trilogy instead.

It was an awesome couple of days of recording. It was really great to see someone plan ahead, hold himself and those around him accountable for the things they say they are going to do in the future, and then do it! Unfortunately, accountability is a very rare quality but Michael and all of his friends and bandmates have it. They were all totally prepared and a talented young group of musicians.
